About Janko Nilovic:
Born in Turkey of Montenegrin and Greek decent, Janko Nilovic moved to France in his late teens, where he quickly established himself as a talented musician on the Parisian live circuit. Embarking on his recording career in 1967, Nilovic became a key player in the French Library Music scene, and has played on, composed or arranged over 300 albums! These classic recordings have provided fruitful ground for Hip Hop artists seeking unique samples and his work has been sampled over 60 times by artists including Jay-Z, Joey Bada$$, ScHoolboy Q and The Beatnuts.
Now 82 years of age Nilovic shows no sign of slowing down. Still playing and recording, Janko has released two albums in the last year including collborations with The Soul Surfers and Lavotta Árpád.
